Not On The Menu!

Pet feeders are the vessels for serving those delectable meals we love to feed our dogs.  The cuisine we dish up at feeding time plays an important role in the health of our pet.   Sweet and savory treats from the “human” dinner table are every precious pup’s dream; however, dreams can turn into nightmares, especially if you offer your pet  certian foods.

These particular foods should NOT be on the Doggie Diner Menu:

  • Chocolate – Containing theobromine, chocolate and cocoa are toxic for dogs.  Dark baking chocolate can be fatal to your dog
  • Fruit Seeds and Pits – Containing cyanide, Apple, Peach, Plum, Cherry, and Apricot pits should be removed when feeding your dog these fruits
  • Grapes & Raisins – Can cause kidney damage
  • Cat Food – A favorite of Dogs, cat food is high in protein and fats which can be more than your dog needs
  • Bones from Fish, Poultry & Other Meats – Can damage the digestive system by creating obstructions or lacerations
